#BringingGoddessBack
The origin story of my sacred art practice—and where to follow what comes next.
Beloveds,
You may already know me as a Priestess, a poet, a mama, and a ritualist—but I’m also an artist. A maker. A woman who once sat in a pottery class full of students making platters, vases, and teapots, while I shaped sacred bodies from clay, with nude self-portrait reference photos hidden on my phone in my lap.
I was following a call I’d received years earlier: to sculpt goddesses.
That quiet, a little rebellious, deeply vulnerable moment—eleven years ago—was the beginning of my sacred art practice. And I’ve been creating ever since.
I recently made a short Reel to share that story visually. It offers a glimpse of those first pieces and traces the evolution since.
It’s an offering to the Sacred Feminine—and a glimpse into my practice of #bringinggoddessback.
And if you feel moved—share it, follow the art over at @sculpting.goddesses, or simply whisper a prayer to the Sacred Feminine, Theminine, or Masculine in and around you. More goddess art work is unfolding every week—I’d love to share it with you.
With love and paint-smudged fingertips,
Annie
