I am happy to share that after a year off for rest, reflection and focusing on getting through lockdown life, I am resuming Matanot Lev | Gifts of the Heart offerings! As is typical of Matanot Lev, these High Holy Day experiences will be non-traditional, feminist, experiential, and brave. I would love to have you there.

Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur day Unservices will be offered in person only, on the giant lawn of 450 Walmer rd. All are welcome and registration is required. Scroll down and click the buttons below for all the details and to register.

This year’s Erev Yom Kippur will be offered as a pre-recorded chanting and kavannah (intention) podcast episode for paid subscribers of The Priestess is IN and will be sent out a few days in advance of Yom Kippur so you can listen and follow (sing) along at your leisure. Sacred Heresy Yom Kippur

Let’s experience Sacred Heresy. Instead of a day of deprivation and discomfort, this Yom Kippur, I invite you to embody radical compassion, care, pleasure, and nourishment. Connecting to our bodies and our spirits in community, I invite us to eat and drink, rest, sing, and play with all our senses to experience the Divine inside and out. We will get to see what dreams for the world can come when we begin the year fully resourced.

Expect chanting, oracle cards, meditative intentions, and opportunities to enjoy the sensory pleasures of this Shabbat Shabbaton that brings us into a Shmitta (sabbatical) year.
